SSF not reading some isos problem

Just as what the title says. Why do some games not start when I try loading them using daemon tools. SSF goes straight to the cd player screen showing the cds tracks. Examples are shining wisdom and shining force 3. I can't seem to get them to load, no matter what setting I try. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the images since they work fine in that other emulator, cassini.

EDIT:

Sorry. Accidentally clicked the thread submit option twice, which explains the other similar thread

If the region is not set right, it should show a "disc not suitable" message right? Well anyway, I've tried that as well, but they still don't work. The problem I have in the emu is similar to what happens to some of my saturn cds on the actual unit. Some are pretty scratched up and the saturn has a hard time reading them, so it goes straight to the cd player screen where I could play the tracks. But the game load icon on the upper left isn't availble (it's just that cd+g icon).

If you do that with ISO files then all it means that your iso is corrupt.

And yea, a wrong region will give you the "disc not suitable for this system" message.
