I was able to play way into level 2 with no game reboot.

Way to make it reboot near instantly? Turn the speed limiter off. I think with it on its fine but off is another matter

Also this game suffers a new bug, with CP1 unusable exceptions on, walk into one of the houses near the start of level 1, and its walls disappear, this bug also effects Turok 3.

The speed limiter should not affect emulation/core in general UNLESS the problem is associated with audio and audio plugin. In another words, using different audio plugins may give you different results.

You're right, i got a different effect with Jabos Directsound 1.5, the game ran alot longer with the speed limiter off than with Schibos Audio 1.2..

but it still rebooted.

Then you can try to flip the DMA option on/off, since the problem must be timing related.
