What's new

soundless sound plugins

Seeing as the default plugin for 1964 is quite bad (at least on my computer) I went and downloaded another one. I tried Azimer's, Jabo's and Zilmar's plugins, but I couldn't hear any sound with any of them. They all worked fine in Project 64. Anyone know how I can solve this problem?

Try taking the rsp plugin from PJ64 and put it in the 1964 directory. Then go down to the plugin settings and set up the rsp plugin along with a sound plugin. Hopefully you will get sound.

Your speakers are on, aren't they? :p
You could give Hac's RSP Plugin a try, too. It's in the download of Mupen 0.4.
try it!

Thanks alot, the sound problem is fixed now. How did it work, though? What's an RSP plugin? The 1964 help file doesn't say alot about it, and Project64's explanation is like a foreign language (to me).

As I understand it, RSP plugins process messages that would usually get handled by the N64's RSP co-processor.
