Rice's Video Plugin - Ocarina of Time - Ice is not see through

I've just got to the ice cavern, and much to my dismay, all of the red ice, and when I get frozen, the ice is opaque. It's a major annoyance because I have never played through this game and would like to know what the deal is.

I could use the Glide64 plugin but the sound messes up when I use it, it gets stuck.

Any help?

K turns out it was the texture pack I was using's fault, I'll try switching to another one and see if that does anything.
