Code:
{aea23b699f4ef1b7-45}
Name=THE LEGEND OF ZELDA
AccurateTextureMapping=1
NormalColorCombiner=1
ForceScreenClear=1
RenderToTexture=4
Those are the settings that I've found to work best for this game when using this plugin, but, really, you should be using Glide64 to emulate this game, preferrably on the Mupen64 emulator.

Normal colour combiner causes problems

this is all i use in rice video when i bother using it.

{c35a46091b50cbf8-50}
Name=THE LEGEND OF ZELDA
FrameBufferEmulation=8
RenderToTexture=5

simple, easy, and i see no problems what so ever....

wish i would say the same for majora's mask,.. rice video screws that up

i've found an issue that seems to effect FX cards,

in legend of zelda, the corners of the menu screen don't clear the buffer properly so you end up getting flickering borders

to fix this, tick the clear buffer box, the image behind the menu will appear black, but this will correct itself as you play through.

You forgot these two lines:

NormalColorCombiner=1
ForceScreenClear=1
to fix this, tick the clear buffer box, the image behind the menu will appear black, but this will correct itself as you play through.
That's why I said to use the ForceScreenClear=1 line.:rolleyes:

actually i just discovered something iconoclast :O

after awhile you no longer need the forcescreen clear option :O

the problem just disappears

and no, i didn't forget the colourcombined=1

i found that having it enabled, caused some objects to be transparent.
with the original setting (2 i think) his torso was see through

with 1, his hat was see through

i have no issues with it disabled

you don't need to set it to off... all you gotta do is tick it twice so the tick is greyed, it means use default setting :p :p

You still don't get it. Normal Color Combiner=1 means OFF, not ON. With the setting disabled, you cannot see through Link's hat. Normal Color Combiner=2 means ON, not OFF. And you need to set it to off, not the default option where the checkbox is grey, because the default option is On, so you will still see through Link's hat unless you set it to Off completely or if you set it to the Default option and changed the Default to Off, but not everyone did that, so it's safe to just force it off.

ForceScreenClear completely removes the issue. You could wait for it to disappear, but you could also just turn the option on to completely prevent it. Which would you prefer?

Hello! What's the best GFX plugin for Mupen on Linux?
I mean, you can't use Glide64 plugin on it, can you?
Framebuffer is desirable, though not really necessary
