Resident Evil 2 Issues

Hey there.

I'm having a couple problems running Resident Evil 2 on Project 64, and was wondering if you guys could help. Sometimes it just stops working during gameplay, the screen goes black and that's it. Also the screen doesn't cover the entire view of Project 64, it has a big black bar on the right side and it's like the picture is squished over on the left side. Also, speech and some movies aren't working, such as the opening cinematic where Claire and Leon meet at the Diner.

Any ideas?

Resident Evil 2 has some serious problems on any N64 emulator, and it's been public knowledge for ages. No, many of these problems can't be fixed, but some can supposedly be mitigated by using Glide64 (if your graphics hardware can handle it).

You'll be a lot happier playing the PSX version for the time being.

does RE have serious problems?.

last i checked they were limited barely to clipping issues.

Alright then. It's been a while since I checked RE2 on the N64, so it's entirely possible that things have changed for the better.
