RDRAM error

this happens with most roms now regardless of what plugin i use....it will randomaly crash with a failure to write to RDRAM error and terminate the program...anyone know what can cause this or what i can do to fix it?

i'm sure its not my lappy....my system should be wellll up to par for N64...please let me know
