ps3 demo unit in cape town?

hi guys i just wanna ask if any1 knows about the ps3 demo unit if it actually exists cause i bought a issue of the local cape ads today and some guy is selling them for round about 700$ (R4000) in the classifieds. he says they are imported and he only has four of them and yes he enphesized ps3. cause as far as i understand its only coming out next year? any info will be appreciated.

im kinda new so sorry if im in the wrong section.

Well you could try the Xbox 360 seeing as they have confirmed that Final Fantasy XI Online is coming.

Anybody that wants to play FFXI already has a PC or PS2. I don't know why they'd bother with the XBox 360 at this point.

Yup, I thought the same too, just regular xbox games retouched with FSAA and smoother textures.
