Project 64K Direct3D Error??? Can Some1 PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Hi when ever i load Project 64K i always get this stupid Error and i can Not play it no more before it was working Fine now i dotn no what the problem is.

I have a 3.2ghz Dual core pc

2GB DDR Ram

160GB HD

256 MB Geforce8500

My pc is up to Date and yet its now working im getting this error can some1 help me?

Not sure if it is the same issue here but other threads about project 64k have suggested setting your display to 16bit color and it'll work
