Project 64 emulator does not work on my system.

My system details are, (before anyone asks ;) ):

Now if you can tell me how to get it to work, or any other N64 emulator, Please do tell me.

Are you sure that it doesn't work? Try it in compability mode and if it keeps not running, we'll talk about it.

Hai, I am sure it is not working. I get message that says "can not be opened by this program".
I went to Nvidia site and updated drivers. still no luck.
Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like it is compressed or something, so you need to uncompress it.
Also what game are you trying to play?

Exact name of game:

Legend of Zelda 2 - Majora's Mask (E)[!].sra
Legend of Zelda 2 - Majora's Mask N64 Rom

hai, it was in the PJ64 Zip.

Where did you download your copy of PJ64? This may be important.:plain2:

And as Slougi wrote, PJ64 absolutely DOES NOT ship with roms, nor does it ship with save files. Of course, the sra extension makes no sense since Majora's Mask uses flash ram.???

KaZe, what you have there is not a game, but only a save from a game. You need to download the game first.

I'm not certain that's the case either. PJ64 uses an fla extension for Majora's Mask saves because the game uses flash ram.

arara, I got my PJ64 from KaZaA. Is not safe from KaZaZ?

Domo arigatou, Slougi San. did not know it was a save.

Warning, Kaze

Are you using PJ64 1.2 or earlier? The unknown x86 opcode error
appears in PJ64 1.2 and earlier. If you are, you may also be trying
to use the Open GL plugin without installing the Detonator drivers, that's why you are probably getting the device is not supported by this plugin message. It seems like the unknown x86 opcode error message was removed in PJ64 1.3 and later.

***And warning, do not request for ROMs on Emutalk.net
or any message board except Spinal's message board,
because due to legal issues related to copyright controversy,
most message boards except for Spinal's message board/forum

***WARNING, SMIFF AND MARTIN WILL HAVE YOUR HEAD IF YOU
ASK FOR ROMS, POST AND/OR MENTION LINKS!***
