Project 64 freezing when trying to exit fullscreen mode

Has there been a fix? I've been away from this whole thing for about 2 years, I really don't know if there's progress.
Has anyone found a fix? I think it had something to do with the rice plugins.

What's your video plugin?

Project64 1.6 and 1.7 with Jabo Direct3D should work when exiting fullscreen.

I am also having this problem. I'm using the Rice video plug-in as well so I can use the high-res texture option for some games.

It's a bug of Rice Video. There's nothing you can do about it (except switching to Glide64 which also support Hi-Res textures).

Is glide 64 another video plug-in? I'll search around and try it out. Does it have support for shaders?

Okay, so I got Glide 64, and it won't open OoT with the high res textures. I keep getting this error:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program: G:\Emultors & Games\N64\Project64etcetc

This program requested runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact the apps' support team for more information.


It did this while loading the textures at the beginning
