Possible not to use N64 controller?

Hey, is it at all possible to play any game downloaded for project64 without using an N64 controller? It feels like that since this thing was made for a computer, you would think you wouldn't need to use a controller right? just use the mouse...

Yes. It's an emulator that runs on the PC, so keyboard input is default. Read the user Manual. No mouse input though, unless you use a 3rd party controller plugin.

My only reason for asking is because all the games that i play say 'no controller' every time i open a ROM. It's really bugging me...

It means that controller for Player 1 is not plugged in. make sure that the controller is marke as "Plugged in" in the Configure Controller Plugin window.
