Hi,
Is there any chance that someone here with a bit of spare time could port one of the N64 emulators to the PSP (Playstation Portable).
There has been various attempts (daedalus, Monkey64) but none of these projects were ever completed but daedalus looked promising hence strmnNrmns dropping out (6 months ago, we all miss him dearly)
Few advantages for the PSP:
a) 8 hours of battery life and unlimited with the car charger plugged in to extension to the back seat!
b) N64 on the move W00t
c) showing off N64 emulation in a crowd.
d) It features a 333Mips MIPS R4000 32bit Core
One thing the PSP doesnt have is all the buttons but surely something could be figured out
Im not asking you guys to go out and buy a PSP but if you already have one but didnt know about a homebrew scene just send a PM..
Would be interesting if this project goes ahead, I keep having dreams of mario and zelda on the move in the car WITHOUT the need of a laptop computer with a bazillion buttons
Wally
