the game is a japenese game on n64 called doubutsu no mori ,(animal forest), and nintendo have made a gc version in jap and in english called animal crossing and it will make a european version in september ,
I extract the characters table (it takes all the 256 bytes) , there are many txtblock with table pointer for everyone , one for names , one for dialogues one for messages on panels.....
the game use specified bytes to design the style and the time reading of the txt...
