N64 controller, can't run in Zelda

I'm using something called the PSX + N64 USB Converter and it honestly runs like a dream as far as roms go... but when I try and use the analog stick to run in Zelda: Master Quest, it only lets me walk. How can I make it so that I can run?

did you ever calibrate the joystick? if so try messing around with the deadzone or range in the contoller plugin and see if it makes a difference.

Awesome, changing the range definitely helped.

Can anyone suggest a as-close-as-regular range as I can get? I can't seem to find a point that is close enough to the original N64.
