Mystical Ninja sound crackling

Well first off, I'm running this game in 1964 because I haven't been able to get any video in Project64 with any plugin. Right now I'm using Rice 5.2, and schibo 1.2 for audio. No other audio plugin has given me any sound at all. Azimer's HLE WIP 1 just freezes up the emulator when I start the game with it, and I haven't gotten WIP 2 yet but I'm not too optimistic.

Anyway, the game runs totally fine except there is some minor crackling in the sound, especially the low frequencies. It doesn't affect anything, but it is driving me nuts.

Video Card: Intel Express (****ing blows)
Sound Card: Legacy? Sigmatel? Not sure where to find out, right now I'm in the device manager.

but
if any sound plugin is going to work

It seems like there's more highs in the EQ with this one, is it at a higher "bitrate" or something?

Jabo's DirectSound will always crackle on 1964, even w/ Sync Game to Audio. schibo's just plain crackles no matter what.

hey is old Azimer gonna ever update wip2? I mean wip2 is great n all but still needs to be improved some or is 1.7 audio plugin gonna make it obselete or is he gonna make a new one or is he retired or...i got a headache.
