Monitor shutting off when playing MSR

Hi,

the problem: When playing metropolis street racer my monitor shuts off and the led is blinking.
I've tried numerous video settings but nothing worked so far. I doubt that it is heat because every other game runs just fine and the temp doesn't go over 50°. I did install 3 different and new driver (1 from ATI and 2 from Omega) but nothing worked (Yes I did deinstall them with driver cleaner).

Usually it happens after a race in the menu and sometime during a race, my comp doesn't really crash tho I can still here the sound and it reacts to my controller.

My system:

-9800pro
-3400 64 AMD
-1gb infeneon PC333
-Asus K8V mainboard

Software:

-Chankast 0.25
-WinXP
-Metropolis Street Racer (NTSC-U)

Would be great if you guys could help me out!

Thanks for your reply!

I think I fixed it now, well I could play over 30 minutes now so I think it's fixed.

What I did:

-run > dxdiag > more help > override > override value 85
-ran in it full screen
-turn off monitor > never

Gonna test some more later, but it runs fine now. Other then that the rims are "missing" (black) :matrix: but who cares about rims when you are driving?!

Btw, awesome community here!

Your computer was attempting to set your moniter to a resolution/refresh-rate it doesnt support.
Your moniter was powering down to protect itself from damage
