Menu freeze in Harvest Moon

I have multiple ROMs and they all run flawlessly in P64. Harvest Moon runs good until about a 'month' into the game, and then when I go to the start menu or tool box it freezes and even after restarting the same thing happens. I've already used GoodN64 and identified it as a good ROM. I'm running P64 with the Jabo plugins. Help please?

i don't know why the heck it happens, but it does.

Is 'tool corruption' a real thing? I can't tell if Squall is being sarcastic
Assuming he was, my input would be to ask if you've been using save states - maybe your save state has become corrupted. Use a native save.

no it wasn't sarcasm, i've experienced it several times where a tool leveled up incorrectly and screwed up the menu.

are you using Gameshark?? everytime I active too much codes the menu freezes
