Mario Kart in Split Screen

Hi everyone

We want to play Mario Kart in split-screen with 2 or more players. The FPS rate is about 40. This should be enough to play, but the sound is bad (choppy). Is there a possibilty that the sound does not synchronize with the 60FPS?

Without a smooth 60VI/sec (50VI/s for PAL ROMs) the sound will stop and start.

If you try finding and downloading the PAL ROM, you might get slightly better results (since you only need 50VI/s for top speed).
