Making N64 roms

what was that device called? the dd64 or something? it attahced to the bottom of the n64. would that be useable in modding a game? or is it only for certain games?

Its called the 64dd and it is only realesed in Japan but it's avalable on ebay though its expensive... it dont think it is used to mod a game it played things like doshin the gaint and a new f-zero x expansion thats all i know about it :huh:
