Majora's Mask oddity... need help

okay so i am using PJ64 v1.6 and i am trying to play Majora's Mask... after trying to figure out the controls, i finally get somewhere... i get all teh way up until mebe 2 rooms after i become a duku kid and i accadently hit the reset button (F1)and i never got to save. now, whenever i make a new file, it starts me in teh mayor's house and then it doesnt let me do anything. help?
