madcatz 360 pad in ubuntu Also mupen question

Has anyone managed to get it working?

I compiled and installed the xpad drivers without error but am finding it hard to see if it worked.

Edit : nvm, compiling was easy . Just the xpad question remains

I use the program "jscalibrator" to test if a gamepad works. I assume you use the same driver as me even though I'm using a real xbox360 controller.

Yeah it wasn't recognising the controller.

I guess il give it another go later. Feel horrible atm, really sick

I have tons of problems with xpad, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But it has nothing to do with Mupen64.

Yeah I know it's unrelated to Mupen. Just seemed like the best place to post it, especially since the only thing the controller is going to be used with is Mupen

Strangely enough with the wireless controller and Xpad360 things work really good. I wonder how that adds up.
