It won't upload my controls!

I've spent hours trying to find a way to control my characters in my games with both a USB controller and the keyboard. IT JUST WON'T REGISTER! Please somebody help me!

did you set the controls, have you tried different input plugins?

Explain "different plugins". Note that I tried to input the controls with the keyboard and it still didn't work.

to change plugins go to plug-ins, change plugins and try a different one.
also if your using a gampad make sure its selected and controls are set.
