I'm new to the project 64 program since I normally was into the "Final Burn Alpha" program and "snes" I recently downloaded the project64 1.6 and I would truly enjoy the help of someone,

Wrong forum dude. Plugins go in the plugins folder. Sometimes there are other files (like a glide wrapper) that have to go in the same folder as the emulator.
