Actually, we can't talk about the piracy here. Because you are downloading it and it is really illegal to talk about it, I think.

If he can't figure out how to use emulator (or even be curious enough to try out different things with the program), maybe he shouldn't be using emulators in the first place. Besides, emulators aren't "too complex" when it comes to loading games.

After you put the GCM directory in the emulator, put the GCM you downloaded to that folder.
If it is an ISO, simply rename it to GCM
