I have a problem with Project94 ver.1.5!!!

I have a problem with Project64 ver.1.5!!!

I can't seem to install it!
there would be an error message, "Failed to allocate Memory."

Please...Help me!

Perhaps just a wrong spelling or somethin', but not really important...

Are you running Windows XP or 2000?

If you are, you are having a pagefile problem.

Make sure you have a pagefile present.


The cause is you have no pagefile or the pagefile is way too small.


The above error message usually occurs on systems with no pagefile or a far too small pagefile.

To correct this, go to
Control Panel>System>Advanced>Performance>Virtual Memory (or similar) and *make sure* the pagefile is at least 192 MB .

And *only* if *after* making sure the pagefile is at least 192 MB and the above error still occurs,would the video card drivers
be a possible cause.

mine seems to be at 600mb or around there...
never knew it was that big lol

I had the same "Failed to allocate memory" problem. But my fix was ultra simple. PJ64 was working fine until i Installed Mcafee Quickcleaner v3. To fix my problem i uninstalled it. I have NO idea if that will help anyone out there, but there ya go.

Oh, I am running WinXP Pro, and 1.33 Ghz Athalon, and 512 Megs Ram.
