Heya guys I just figured out a way to improve the speed of RE4 and its really simple to do. In XP open up the taskbar (ctrl alt delete) , go to processes , and then right click on dolphin.exe, hit set affinity and turn off your seconed cpu to get the game working at least 3 or 4 times faster then before!
I havn't tried this with other roms yet but I got the idea from geting system shock 2 to work on XP (which it works perfectly on after doing this). Hope this can lead some people to better developments, sorry if this was already posted somewhere else... don't hate me.
O and by the way RE4 does still get stuck right after the intro so yeah ...
