How do I start?

Sorry for my noobishness... i just downloaded the program and it says I need these "ROMs" in order to play. Well I got an n64 and some games with it. How do I make it work for my PC?

I really hope there isnt extra equipment I need ... and I'm sure there is. DO I NEED TO HAVE A CONTROLLER in order to play, or can I use my keyboard??!

"Roms" are games. I will not discuss where you obtain them. To get them from your n64 collection, you need to "dump" them. More I can't say.
And no, you don't need a controller to play. You can use the keyboard or other gamepads if you want.
