Glide 64 Majora's Mask issue when using Hardware Frame Buffer Emulation

With Glide64 ( latest release ), I have this odd little graphical issue in Majora's Mask that apparently only happens when using hardware frame buffer emulation.

When shooting the uh... bubble with Deku Link, not only does the bubble appear behind link, but it causes other things to appear out of place as well. Once the bubble pops, it's all normal.

Specs:

CPU: Phenom II x4 965 BE

Motherboard: GA-990FXA-UD3 Rev 1.1

GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7850 XFX Double D

SPU: Sound Blaster Audigy 4

RAM: 4Gigs DDR3 1333Mhz

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Here's a picture of the problem. Notice that certain objects are appearing in the foreground when the bubble is there. The door, the bubble itself, and the bed of water. In some cases I actually saw even stranger effects happen, such as certain areas of the screen turning into a black square after shooting the bubble ( it looked like Link himself turned in a big black square at one point ).

*edit- Also, is there really a big difference between having this option on or off?
