Games work then emulator stops responding

i get into playing a game i get about 1/2 way through a level and then all the sudden out of the blue the game stops responding and i have to do it all over again. does anyone know why it keeps doing this?

How is anyone supposed to help you with that information? Post the settings used, Dolphin version, PC specs and the game name.

sorry typed this up like literally 30 seconds before i had to leave for work.

using the dolphin x68 4702

specs:

Gateway
AMD Phenom 9600 Quad core Processor (2.3 GHz)
3070 MB RAM
Windows Vista


Graphic card:

ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT
1521 MB

Thats a pretty old version of Dolphin, they are up to r6919 now, you should update and see if its any different
