futur of chankast??

HEllo i have tried this emulator, and he works!!
and my question and what futures , for this great emulator?
becouse no news since 22/01/2005

i hope the emulator can have new release and more compatibility!!!
because he is very good!!

sa fait peur, car c'est un super projet qui marche super bien!!

There is no certain future for this emulator since practically no one has done anything since 2005 (except a few hacks), and as it stands, other emulators have long since gone past Chankast in terms of compatibility.

Chankast was REALLY cool when there were no other good Dreamcast emulators, but that period is over now. Hell, I even got lxdream to run the stuff i've tried on chankast. (But of course that's a linux thing so for you i'd just recommend switching to the nullDC group of people, nullDC is likely better anyways)

I have also a problem with NULLDC with ikaruga at the 2nd level, the notorious missing bullets. Btw, if i use chankast the graphics seem to be incomplete and then kinda like crashes before i can start up ikaruga. It still let me play ikaruga but with some bad graphic textures!? didnt have this prob with nullcd or even before on chankast.
