Fishing seems impossible in Ocarina of Time on 1964

Tried fishing out on a new game as a kid, and every fish I attempted to catch would instantly get away. After having this occur about ten times, I loaded up my save in PJ64 and managed to catch every fish I snagged.

I have not tried it as an adult, and I did not edit any settings. Sorry if this is a known issue or there is a work around, just wanted to give a heads up.

Most likely an issue, mabey lower CF?

As I say most of the times, im not much help, but I try to help when I can

Well, I didn't mess with the CF, but after thinking about it, it seems like a likely conclusion. I'm not playing the game on a CF of 1 and will attempt to fish again soon and post back.
