Final Fantasy collections emulator?

I have a question? I've heard that the Super Nintendo Final Fantasy ports on the playstation use an emulator and the original rom. I was wondering if it would be possible to rip the emulator and use it to play other super nintendo games on the playstation.

No, it's not possible. The Playstation 2 has a SNES emulator called SNEStation, and that is the closest thing you can get.
