Castlevania

I'm trying to run castlevania. 1964 says the rom is running. but the screen is black. I'm on a fast machine with lots of space. the bar at the bottom say's;
core 1%, video 0%, audio 0%, Compiler 0%, idle 97%. The other games i play work fine. I'm having the same trouble with donkeykong64 also. could someone please guide me in the right direction. thanx, GODSHOT:evil:

Yeah I'm not sure if Castlevania is compatible with 1964 or not, I run it on Project64 and it works fine for me well Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness mind you, is this the first CV you are playing?

Castlevania is compatible with 1964. Unless you have a bad ROM, just required to change some ROM settings.
