These are known issues.
(according to BHCL)

- (Major) Various graphics errors - missing menu elements, garbled graphics, missing textures. The game is somewhat playable. Many missing effects, black boxes, smearing. All plugins show garbage. Use Jabo's, it is somewhat playable.
