A simple question regarding the F510 mode input

At least I hope it is simple!

This is it:

1. I bought a Logitech F510 gamepad to use for Project 64 yesterday.

2. As you might know, it has 2 different input modes, the Direct input (windows software), and the Xinput (which uses the Logitech software that comes with the gamepad.

3. At first, I used direct input to play, and it worked great. I set the plugin to N´range in Project 64 settings menu.

4. I then got the stupid idea of installing the logitech software and play with Xinput, in order to get the rumble function to work in Z:OoT.

5. Now, it doesn´t work. Even if I turn the controller back to Direct Input I´m having problems.

Has anyone experienced this?

Does it help to unistall the Logitech software?

Enormously grateful for any advise!!!!!!!

Thank you.

Uninstall or otherwise disable the Logitech software, as it's known to interfere with emulator key bindings.
