    ultrahle help w/ winxp

    ahhh well this is the first time i tried using an emu since i upgraded to XP pro. and guess wat? it's not working i'm on winxp pro + voodoo3 + amd 700 processor ... i usually would know wat to do in this situation, i guess i'm just not familiar with some things on XP. anyways, i get a BLANK error message wen trying to emulate a rom. is there a specific glide2x.dll i should be using for xp + uhle?

    yea but u dont have a voodoo card like i do... any suggestions anyone?

    compatibility is set to win98 yet i get the same error...

    anyone running a voodoo 3 card on winxp wanna help me? like send me wat glide2x.dll file u are using... maybe i have the wrong one...

    You MUST use the glide wrapper of 3dfx, so if you got your voodoo correctly installed, do not put a glide2x.dll in ultrahle directory, UltraHLE will find the good dll in your windows files.

    Off topic: if the thread starter is THE crewde, i would hope that you, crewde, have learnt a good lesson over the HydraHLE affair :plain2:


    on topic (more or less) does UltraHLE need ONLY a glide wrapper to run?

    lol glide wrappers are for ppl who dont have 3dfx cards, this dude does, i think u need the newer glide3x.dll for ultrahle so it will work on a v3+

    oh yeah and get the latest drivers from voodoofiles.com

    Ultrahle uses Glide2x, not 3x. There's a diffrence.
