For some really odd reason, my framerate seems to get sliced in half right after the "Nintendo 64" sign is shown...
I'm really confused as to why the game would drop to 30 frames per second with the computer I got. I literally just got it TODAY (the stats are in the signature), and why it's losing so much speed leaves me at a loss.
It starts at 60 fps, and then it drops to 30 fps when the game actually starts to play. Does anyone know what's up (and the sound is clicking as well in the background...) ???

i think that the problem is in your radeon 9700. follow the link to Redah's post for instructions.

Okay, the frame rate has significantly increased, but it is still lacking a little bit, it runs a little bit slower than the actual game would. Does anyone else have any ideas?
