    Alien nothing but problems....

geez i just can't seem to get it to work properly....i have been experiencing nothing but problems wiht trying to use project 64. if the game doesn't freeze when loading or has a very choppy framerate then it transforms ALL moving objects to a nothing but BLACK figure. i don't understand the problem because...(not to degrade anyone that posts here) but i have compared my computer specs to some other users (that don't seem to have the problems that i have) and mine are just a little bit better. i don't understand what's going on and i have tried many a bit of trouble-shooting. if someone would be kind enough to explain what's going on please help...(PS the roms that i have trierd using are supposidly working fine [mario64 and mario kart64] i don't even have any hope of trying the other ones i have, they are supposed to work fine too but they don't work at all)

Yeah I see your system. Brilliant, powerful, well-balanced...

    ...except for the graphics card.

Your graphics card has far too little memory and sounds like it's integrated into the motherboard. It sounds very likely that it's causing your problems.

You need a seperate one. A GeForce2 MX (or better) or any kind of ATI Radeon should be enough.

I'd also suggest switching to either windows 98se, or windows 2000/XP

I totally agree...you can buy a TNT 2 for 50 bucks and that will do you a lot better than that video card..Your Cpu and Ram is good so no real upgraded needed.

All I wanna know is how exactly does UT2K3 run on a 8mb`s Savage3D card...

If you don't want to splash out on a new video card, go use Glide64 with eVoodoo

Oooh, and make sure you desktop is set to 16-bit colour. Anything higher will make your video card choke (like it's doing now)
