How can I make PJ64 overall faster?

Are there any general things to do to make it run faster on slower systems? I just downloaded and havent changed any settings yet.

    Thanks.

RTFM. Not to be rude or anything but the pj64 manual tells you what you could do to make it faster overall.

Try changing your graphics card settings.
I changed my Anti-Aliasing from 4 to 2 and i got a nice frame increase and it did run smoother.
That and a few others might help.
I always have V-Sync turned off and that helps for me.
    See what works for you.

    Hope that helps.

Or use 1964 which is proven faster than Project64.

I'd use 1964 but it doesnt work with some of my ROMs to an acceptable level and PJ64 does!

Thanks for the Vsync thing, it goes a bit better now
