Zelda MM question

Anyone have problems with Zelda MM going black when going into rooms? For example every time I go into boss room of woodland dungeon, the screen goes black and nothing happens although the CPU is still operating at about 40% If you have seen it, anyway to fix it? Cuz other than that, it seems to run flawless other than a few sound crackles.

Which video plugin are you using?
1964 version?
Sound plugin?

Sorry about that, I'm kind of new to this. I'm using the 0.8.5 version of 1964, Jabo's Direct3d7 1.40, Azimer's audio v0.30 (old driver), and Jabo's directinput7 1.40

Hope that helps.

Oh, actually I was using 0.7.3 version of 1964 when the problem occured and switched to the 0.8.5 to see if it would help, but no luck.

As far as I know, but like I said I'm new to this. The rest of the rom has worked great so far.

Hmm, thanks for the link. But it says I have a verified good dump. Maybe I will just try starting the game over from the beginning and see what happens.
