    Elder Scrolls III Morrowind

This game is the ultimate RPG. Simply amazing. HUGE! Everything you do levels you up, including running and talking. If you haven't played this game, run out and buy it or steal it whatever.

Yes, but the fights are dull.

And the truckloads of reading is boring. Reading isnt a bad thing, but when you have all those books in that game and everyhthing else as well it gets bad. Nobody wants to sit around and read 3000+ books in a game.

Just the damn fact that they took the time to write 3000+ books is simply amazing. And yes, fighting is a little lame, but it makes up for it with how cool your guy looks. And the damn graphics are the best I've seen to date.

yea, i agree with zoomer, insanely sweet graphics, bethdasoft, however you spell it, they made a very good attempt at making it a very immersive rpg, of course there some downsides, but i think the upsides push it much further than the downsides to being a great game, anyway VERY good game

I was disappointed with the game. The fighting isn't the only thing that's dull. After all the hype I was expecting something like Arcanum of Steamworks and Magik Obscura in 3D. There's a good PC RPG for you. Morrowind and it's long winded, self repeating dialog, tons of books with unrelated/boring stories and all that crap just couldn't keep me interested for long. I'm still waiting for
the first good 3D RPG for PC.

Deus Ex 2? that has crazy action fighting, if thats what you guys want, morrowind just has a great adventure feel and the sense of control, no cutscenes(at least from what i've seen) and you get to make up everything as you go, and make a MILLION decisions, a very well thought out game that has many new ideas, NEW, thats what we haven't seen in awhile, just cause its not perfect doesn't mean its not good
