    N64 Fast to slow?

    This morning I was playing Zelda: OoT, and the FPS was nice, just round the 60 FPS. Now I have like 30 :S Somebody knows how to fix this?>:!!!:

    Windowz XP
    AMD Athlon XP 1600+
    GIGAbyte motherbord
    Hercules 3D prophet 4000 XT tv out

    Video settings in PJ64:
    Display tab:
    rendering device: Direct 3D hal
    windowed res. 640x480
    full scr. res. 800x600x32
    Buffer display mode: Tripple Buffer Vsync
    the 3 chechboxes are disabled

    Emulation tab:"
    RSP code simulation: RSP SW 2.0x
    Geomatry transforms: autom.
    Texture format: 16 and 32 bpp
    x Enable fog
    Enable .... Culling
    x Change blending if invalid for video card
    x Always use filtering ....

    Advanced tab:
    Frame Buffer: Emulate clear
    x depth compare
    disabled
    disabled

    try turning off the framebuffer.

    Every game, Every ROM.... May'be it's the heat out here. My system was 62 degrees celcius en CPU 52...

    maybe uts something running in the background taking system resources... make sure your not crunching seti@home or anything in the background

    Not-active sytemprocesses is taking a lot, under CPU it says 97 sometimes, but I don't know if I can close this without messing things up
