    Not the ussual product labels

Here are some actual label instructions on consumer
    goods.

On a Sears hairdryer: Do not use while sleeping.

On a bag of Fritos: You could be a winner! No purchase
necessary. Details inside (the shoplifter special?)

On a bar of Dial soap: "Directions: Use like regular
    soap."

On some Swanson frozen dinners: "Serving suggestion:
    Defrost." (just a suggestion).

On Tesco's Tiramisu dessert (printed on bottom): "Do
    not turn upside down."

On Marks & Spencer Bread Pudding:"Product will be hot
    after heating." (oh...)

On packaging for a Rowenta iron: "Do not iron clothes
on body." (But wouldn't this save me more time?)

On Boot's Children Cough Medicine:"Do not drive a car
or operate machinery after taking this medication."
(We could do a lot to reduce the rate of construction
accidents if we could just get those 5-year-olds with
    head-colds off those forklifts.)

On Nytol Sleep Aid: "Warning: May cause drowsiness."

On most brands of Christmas lights: "For indoor or
outdoor use only." (as opposed to where?)

On a Japanese food processor: "Not to be used for the
    other use."

On Sunsbury's peanuts: "Warning: contains nuts."

On an American Airlines packet of nuts: "Instructions:
Open packet, eat nuts." (Step 3: maybe, uh...fly
    Delta?)

On a child's superman costume: "Wearing of this
garment does not enable you to fly." (I don't blame
the company. I blame the parents for this one.)

On a Swedish chainsaw: "Do not attempt to stop chain
with your hands or genitals." (..was there a lot of
    this happening somewhere?)

Anyone else thinks that the music from "Psycho" really fits here?

No seriously, on The Practice last night there was a court case involving a schizophrenic who jumped out a window fell two stories and killed a guy becuase he thought he was Superman. His defense was that the nurse was nagging him and made him forget to put on his cape so he couldn't fly.

Seinfeld already used the superman thing, and I'm sure he isn't the first.

    But the other things...

You know, behind 99% of these labels was a lawsuit, where the company did get sued pretty bad. Heres an extra one where a company got sued:

Stroller with a label that says "Warning: Remove child before folding."

Pretty god damn funny to me but I am sure the companies don't agree I think the funniest thing is the morons behind these lawsuits.

I think what concerned me the most was the part about the genitals. Somehow I think someone's wife had something to do with it.. for some reason.

At least it wasn't on the product label for a rip saw.
