It works in PJ64... dunno if it works better in any other emu.

No I looked at Project 64's RDB file... It said it works...

Anyway you could try 1964, it should work there (http://1964emu.emulation64.com/FAQ/1964_Main.html)

You could always get some different emu's and try.... it doesn't take much time.

Have you been able to enter the house before? Did you talk to the little brown fire hydrant looking creature right next to the front door? I only watched my wife play it some but it seemed you have to do this first.
