Question Which is better? And what's the difference?

Some N64 roms are named "V1.1" or "V1.2" etc. These roms are modified in some way, right?

But which is better, a rom named, for example:

    Castlevania (U) (V1.2) [!]

    or

    Castlevania (U) [!]

Now which is better? The modified version, or the non-modded one? And what's the difference between them? Since as far as I know, both of them works.

The 1.2 or newer version just has some bug fixes and released in a new version. So there's no point in getting newer or older, get whatever you can get your hands on.

Need to download GoodN64 or instructions to use it? Need to check if it's a good or bad rom?
