Cheats Settings For Mupen64

I have Ubuntu Linux on my Laptop & I have Mupen64 Windows Version through the Wine Application. Is there any way to add cheats to games on Mupen64?

can add a cheat by selecting a game, going to settings, then selecting cheats

can add a cheat by selecting a game, going to settings, then selecting cheats

The user wishes to add cheat to a game not enable an existing one i think.

And to be more specific, i am not sure Mupen64 has cheat support? only Mupen64Plaus does?
