Damn! i don't know if this is good but those new official drivers for the nvidia cards made my card go from about 8500 to 8700 under 3dmark2001se, i don't know how good of an improvment that is, just kinda seems like it

Wow..
A 200 point jump is quite good, that helps some people break the next 1000 point barrier. Its a drastic improvement. I'll have to upgrade my drivers.. of course I cant wait for the new detonators (3x.xx) because they're supposed to be better for GF4 but hey, its a start.

This driver has done one great thing for me, running a GF3 Ti200. It has stopped Morrowind crashing to Desktop so often! I played it last night for a full 2 hours without any crash, I just hope it wasn't a fluke.

You need to find a tweak prog and turn on Buffer Biasing to fix that problem.

I still use Detonator 5.13 drivers... 3dmark2001 SE score is 9357 :biggrin: Don't ask how, nothing special under here
...Well maybe having the GF3 TI200 clocked at 250/550 makes the difference
