how to hide fps

Hello all,

Is there anyway to hide the bottom bar where the fps meter is showing on project 64? I am trying to record a video with one of the N64 games and the bottom bar will not go away when I am playing except when I go fullscreen.

As far as I know, you can hide the fps in option/settings but not the bar itself.

Does your recording software not allow you to define which region of the screen/window you want to record? If not, it would probably be more convenient to record with something else, if you have a choice in the matter. Otherwise, you could crop the video in postprocessing, but that could take more time, or damage quality depending on how you're storing/processing your video.
