    Unhappy Werid small problems

    Hi there,

I have some minor problems with 1964

when i run games in 1964 fullscreen The small fps counter always flashes on the screen. It appears in the exact same place as it would in windowed mode. I can't seem to get rid of this no matter what I do. Is there any way to fix this? Im not sure you guys will understand what I mean, its difficult to explain. The rom status bar with all the CPU info that is ussually at the bottom of the window in windowed mode flickers when I am playing in full screen mode.

I also constantly get choppy audio when playing games, esspecially zelda Ocarina. This is the bigeest problem Ive been having.

When I play Castlevania Legacy of Darkness There is a strange border or graphical error around the acctually playing screen. Sometimes this is black, other times it is distorted images of thew game play.

lastly, sometimes when I run zelda full screen it gets really slow.

    Thanx
    Any info appreciated.

    Hi Urban Monk,

The people who can possibly help you in this forum (probably not me as I'm still a newbie , I expect will need to see your computer specs and the plugins that you are using, to help you solve your problems.

So you might want to post them now

    Good luck

I know very well what you mean.
It's happend me, too, and I've solved it, at least temporary by disabling that statusbar in the options. (Show CPU Usage & stuff). Should be disabled.

As for choppy sound, probably because emulation is not going full speed, so as DeadRabbit said, we can't really determine this unless you give us your specs.

The slowdowns is probably due to your system as well. Post your specs and we'll be able to help you more.

Need to download GoodN64 or instructions to use it? Need to check if it's a good or bad rom?

Choppy sound is my main problem too. Sometimes it's accompanied by a warped reverberated slow motion effect (best description I can think of ) which makes it unbearable. I've tried reducing/increasing the audio's buffer size and dropping the resolution etc. but it's always there. Any ideas?

1964 v073 (it happens with every version)
    Jabo D3D7 1.40
Azimer's audio (happens with all of them)

    Your specs are low.

    Either...

You can always try to close every app in the background (I mean all!).

Try changing CF: the higher, the faster, but also clumsier. Don't set it too high, 5 is pretty much the limit.

Try sync sound if it's choppy and you get full speed.

    Upgrade your PC.

    Turn off sound!
